If you bring it yourself, you determine the length, quantity, texture, strand thickness and color in the configurator and know exactly what you will get in advance. If it goes through the salon, your stylist takes over the selection and includes the hair in her price. For the first appointment, the second route is often more relaxed; from the second set onward, most people know exactly what they want.
What you should in no case do: mix hair from two different sources. Different origins mean different behavior when washing, and you will notice it at the ends after the third wash at the latest.
How your first appointment works
1. Determine the color
On your own hair, in daylight, ideally with a color ring. Photos and screens almost always shift the tone. Only once the color is confirmed is the order placed.
2. Set quantity and method
The quantity depends on your natural hair density and desired length, the method on hair texture and daily life. Both belong in the consultation, not in the order form.
3. Configure and order the hair
You choose the length, quantity, texture, strand thickness and color yourself. Custom orders and custom colors require production time, which needs to be factored into your appointment planning.
4. Book the appointment and have it installed
Plan three to five hours for a full set of bondings, and one to two hours for wefts. Do not wash for 48 hours after installation.
5. Move up after eight to twelve weeks
The bond travels down as your hair grows and needs to be renewed. If you wait too long, you will get tangles at the roots.
