In short: EchtHaar Direkt has a free app for iPhone and Android: Bondings, Tape Extensions, Wefts, Clip-ins, wigs and raw hair made from one hundred percent real human hair. Plus a color simulator that shows you how a color looks on your own photo before you order. The app is free and can be used without an account.
What can the app do that the website can’t?
Three things that need your phone.
Test a color on your own photo
You take a photo of your hair, and the app shows you the extension color on it. That way you can see beforehand whether a color suits your roots, instead of guessing on a screen. If you prefer numbers, you’ll find the same logic in our color ring.
Take a look from someone else’s photo
You’ve seen a picture somewhere and want exactly that hair. Upload it, and the app reads out the color, length and structure and tells you which method and which quantity that would take.
Your Hair Passport
The length, color number, method and quantity of your last order stay saved. Next time, you don’t have to look anything up or measure anything again.
For hairdressers and salons
The app has its own area for professionals. It includes: wholesale prices with volume discounts from 500 grams, a calculator that tells you what’s left per installation after materials and working time, client management with a hair profile for each client, and an appointment calendar. Quotes can be sent directly from the app via WhatsApp.
Access to the professional prices is unlocked manually so that no wholesale prices are publicly visible. Activation is done via the form for business customers.

Does the app cost anything?
No. The app is free, with no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. You only pay for what you order.
Do I need an account?
Not for browsing, looking at colors and calculating prices. You only need an account to place an order and for the Hair Passport.
Is the app available for iPhone and Android?
Yes, for both. iPhone from iOS 15.5, Android from version 8.
Are the prices in the app the same as in the shop?
Yes, the app and the shop use the same price list. If you’ve been unlocked as a business customer, you’ll see the professional prices in both.
What happens to my photo in the color simulator?
It is processed for the calculation and not stored permanently afterwards. Details can be found in the privacy policy.
