Seamless Clip-ins: flat root without a seam
Seamless Clip-ins have a flat base without a seam ridge and lie close to the head. That is why they also do not show through thinner top hair. At EchtHaar Direkt, you select Seamless in the Clip-in configurator, from 100 % real hair in 40 to 130 cm, from 100 g, in over 70 colours or as a custom colour based on a photo. Seamless costs a little more than regular Clip-ins; every set is made to order after your purchase.
Putting together the widths yourself
Our Clip-Ins do not come as a fixed set with a fixed number of pieces; instead, you choose the widths 5 cm, 10 cm (+2 %), 20 cm (+4 %) and 25 cm (+5 %) yourself. For 100 g, a typical split is 2 × 5 cm, 2 × 10 cm and 2 × 20 cm: the wide pieces go at the back of the head, the narrow ones at the sides. If you have previously worn a set with two three-clip pieces at the back and two two-clip pieces at the sides, this split will match that exactly.

How many grams of Clip-Ins?
Clip-Ins are applied at specific points, which is why most people end up at the lower end of the quantity table: 100 g for volume and fine hair up to about 60 cm, 125 to 150 g for a noticeable length increase, and from 100 cm length 200 g or more so that the length looks full. Invisible, Seamless and U Clip-Ins, wider pieces, texture (slightly wavy +4 % to curly +20 %) and crown density (80 % +19 %, 95 to 100 % +38 %) are added as percentages. Shipping within Germany is free; to Austria and Switzerland it is 25 €.
Delivery time
Every set is made to order after you place your order: 10 to 14 working days, with a custom colour 12 to 16 working days. Ready-made Clip-Ins from Available immediately ship within 1 to 3 working days. Clip-Ins are taken out in the evening and washed separately, which is why a set lasts many months with good care.

Disadvantages of Clip-in Extensions
- Putting them in every day: Clip-ins come out in the evening and go back in in the morning. The first time, this takes 20 to 30 minutes; once you know your rows, five to ten.
- Not for sleeping and showering: You do not sleep or shower with Clip-ins in. At night, the clips would press into the scalp and pull on the same spots all night.
- Correct placement takes learning: If the row sits too high, the edge shows through; if it sits too low, it peeks out at the sides. About two finger widths below the hairline and one finger’s distance from the side hairline is the right spot, otherwise it shows at the ear.
- Limited with fine hair: Your own hair must cover the clip row. With fine hair, choose Seamless or Invisible Clip-ins and 100 to 125 g, no more.
The advantage on the other side: no salon, no bonds that need to be moved up, and the hair lasts 1 to 2 years with good care.
